1HOW LONG WILL DILATING DROPS LAST?
4 to 8 hours is the normal range, each individual is different.
2WILL I BE ABLE TO DRIVE MYSELF?
No we recommend you have a driver at all times in order to prevent accidents.
3HOW LONG WILL EYE EXAM TAKE?
Expect to be in our office 45 minutes to 1.5 hours due to dilation time required for a full exam.
4DO DOCTORS AND STAFF SPEAK OTHER LANGUAGES?
Our staff and Physicians speak several languages, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Hindi.
5DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS?
Yes, we can accommodate based on your emergency and your needs.
6DO WE NEED TO BE REFERRED BY PRIMARY DOCTORS?
Yes, most HMO insurance requires that primary doctor refer patient. Private insurance patients do not need a referral.
7IS PARKING IN STRUCTURE FREE?
Yes we have a three story parking structure that is free to the public.

9CAN EYE EXAM AND EYEGLASSES BE PERFORMED ON SAME DAY?
We recommend separate appointments due to the dilation of the eyes at the initial eye exam.
Optical services are available Monday to Friday including every other Saturday to the meet the needs of the community.
10DO I NEED MY INSURANCE CARDS EVERY TIME I GO TO YOUR OFFICE?
Yes, we will ask for all your cards just in case there has been a change to your insurance. First time patients must bring all cards with them in order to obtain eligibility and authorizations.
11DO YOU PERFORM LASIK SURGERY?
Yes, we provide free Lasik evaluation.
12IF I HAVE SURGERY HOW MUCH TIME WILL I BE OUT?
There are so many surgeries available, each individual patient and disease is different. Your doctor will advice you of your needs on your initial exam.
13HOW LONG IS MY GLASS PRESCRIPTION GOOD FOR?
You may use a glass prescription for up to two years.
14DOES YOUR OPTICAL DEPARTMENT DISPENSE CONTACT LENSES?
Yes, we have an array of contact lenses for you to choose from: dailies, monthlies, multi-focal and astigmatism lenses.
