Dr. Scovill joined Castillejos Eye Institute in 2018. She is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry having completed her Bachelor's in Science of Biology graduating Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University. She completed her Residency at San Diego VA in Ocular Disease.

Dr. Scovill presided as President of San Diego Optometric Society in 2021.
